Finch Bay accommodates 42 guests with 21 rooms (with twin or king-size beds), each with private facilities, air conditioning and unlimited water supply, as the hotel has its own desalinization plant. The entire infrastructure as well as the activities are totally oriented to a concept of true ecotourism in a pristine natural environment.

Finch Bay is easily accessible. After a two-hour flight from Ecuador's mainland, guests arrive to the airport of Baltra in the Galapagos and then take overland transportation to Puerto Ayora and the Finch Bay.

Safari Camp (Santa Cruz)

This camp in the highlands of Santa Cruz has eight luxury tents, each with their own private bathroom and balcony. Lounge by the campfire or swim in the infinity pool that overlooks the sea.
The Galápagos Safari camp will assist with excursions from the camp to nearby farms, the highlands or lowlands to go trekking, biking, hiking, swimming or shopping.

Getting There:
fly to Baltra where you will be met by a member of our staff. It is a short ride to the canal which joins Baltra to Santa Cruz and the crossing takes 5 minutes, followed by a 40 minute drive to the farm.

Hostal Wittmer (Floreana)

It's famous resident, Margaret Wittmer, arrived to Floreana in the 1930's and just recently passed away. Today the pension is managed by her daughter. Here you can have your post cards stamped with one of four seals, sample the homemade wine. Items for sale include Floreana t-shirts and signed copies of her book, Floreana.

Floreana Island has 80 inhabitants, around 45 in Puerto Velasco lbarra and some more i the highlands. 15 people were born in the island.
It only has one school and a telephone which is at the Wittmers. You can spend your peaceful nights on this island with the Wittmers. They have very good food and you can also listen together with their large family to some fascinating stories about the island and its inhabitants.
Basic services are limited and there are no frequent boats landing in this island, unless you try to visit it with one of the scarce boats which land at black beach, which is difficult but not impossible.
This is the best place on earth for someone who really wants peace to maybe meditate, write or just escape from the noisy world.
