Galapagos Diving Tours

THE FOLLOWING 7 NIGHT ITINERARY IS A SAMPLE ONLY. THE 10 NIGHT ITINERARY INCLUDES 3 MORE DIVING DAYS WITH ADDITIONAL LAND EXCURSIONS

Galapagos Turtle

Sky Dancer's itinerary offers a total of approx. 19 dives It offers 4 land excursions, and covers 565.5 nautical miles of ocean. It has only one very long navigation (15 hours from Wolf to North Seymour). It also places Darwin & Wolf Islands closer to the end of the trip, and finishes the diving with 2 really great dive sites (North Seymour & Gordon's rocks) that our guests won't forget. It also allows flexibility with our timing, in case of any delays during the trip. It allows us an extra day nearby an airport at the beginning of the trip in case of delayed luggage or passengers.

When the TAME or AEROGAL flight is scheduled for early arrival, our Sky Dancer crew will escort all guests to the Galapagos Interpretation Center after being greeted at the airport and before boarding the Sky Dancer. This gives our guests a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the oceanography and volcanic origins, plus a very nice exhibit on the human history of the Galapagos Islands.

Baggage Restrictions - On TAME Airlines (domestic from mainland Ecuador to the Galapagos Islands), guests can check one bag with 20 kilos (44 lbs.) per person. Guests can take a carry on bag, soft-sided, approximately 7 kilos (15-16 lbs.) and must fit into the Carry-on bag control unit that they have at the airport. The overweight charge is $2.90 per extra kilo each way, which works out to $1.50 per lb. one way or $3 per lb. round trip and you will be expected to pay cash. Your checked luggage will be searched prior to departure to the Galapagos Islands; your carry on luggage will be checked upon arrival into the Galapagos Islands . At times, TAME Airlines has been lenient with checked baggage weight restrictions, but they adhere to the carry-on bag restrictions when using planes with the open overhead compartments.

Additionally, the National Park authorities have installed a desk for luggage inspection at the domestic departure hall for all flights to Galapagos. Bags will be checked for organic material, like food, plants and even wood or anything made of wood. It is impossible to carry any item that might contain bacteria.

If you are booked on connecting flights in the domestic United States our Europe, we highly recommend that you re-check your luggage at your international gateway city before boarding the flight to Ecuador.
