Private City Tour.- Today we will visit downtown Quito to relish in this urban jewel and its treasures of art and architecture. Quito’s colonial quarter, the largest and best preserved of South America, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will stroll at the Independence Plaza, flanked by the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the Municipal Building and the Archbishop's Palace. We will visit also the temple of La Compañía de Jesús and its awesome gilded interior (NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS FOR VISITS). We pass by the Monastery of San Francisco, one the of great religious buildings of the New World; its impressive façade and atrium that lead to its Baroque interior influenced by Moorish style, with the winged Virgin of Quito at its main altar.

Train ride – Tren de la Libertad
Check in time: 10:50 Ibarra Train Station. After breakfast, you should drive ahead to Ibarra Train Station for taking the train ride. It takes about 1 hour from your hotel. Please bring your passport with you. Train will departure at 11:00 am near the station we suggest to leave Cusin at 09:30 so you can have time to find the parking from the Train Company( ask at the station for this place).
Train will be back to Station at 16:30 pm. After finishing the train ride, go back to your hotel.

Devil’s Nose Train ride – Drive to Cuenca.-Today you will experience a unique train ride – Devil’s Nose. You should drive to Alausi Station, which will take about 2 ½ hours from your hotel. We suggest to departure from Hotel at 08:00am. Parking in Alausi is very easy to find, in front of the station or on the streets nearby there are allot of parking space. After the train ride, continue to Cuenca.
