The Totora Kayak tour is an adition to an experience with Otavalo Market and te surrandings of Imbabura Province. We work together with a local comunity of San Rafael the main producers of totora products in Ecuador and the northem region of Imbabura. The kayak experience is directly on the San Pablo lake on a tandem kayak ( 2 guest ).

TOTORA KAYAK TOUR AND OTAVALO MARKET

Our trip begans from Quito or near by towns, We will drive to the province of Imbabura to visit the comumity of San Rafael where the Totora Kayaks and many other products are made. Continue to Cachiviro pier where our local guide will be ready for the safety instructions to experience the kayak Totora tour and learn more on the andean cosmovision. An aproximately one hour of kayak on the San Pablo lake , we will be back to take the transportation to visit the Otavalo Market. Lunch in a local restaurant

We suggest to bring , extra pairs of pants and confortable clothing for water activity
